The Pennsylvania State Capitol is a palatial building with Victorian-style roofs and a majestic central dome fixture. Visitors are encourage to take free tours, which offer a wonderful glimpse into the inner workings of state government, moving through the different wings of the Capitol, and covering 18 colorful, interactive exhibits. The Capitol lies along the downtown waterfront, on the east side of the river, near Harrisburg Cemetery.
Tours offered Mon. - Fri. 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Sat. - Sun. 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.

Do not come to Pa. until Gov. Rendell re insates the stipend for adopted children. He took it away recently and should be ashamed of himself. As an adoptive parent I need that stipend to raise my special needs son.
