Established in 1989, the Susquehanna Art Museum strives to bring locally and nationally renowned art to the state capitol of Pennsylvania. Benefiting from a new space in the Kunkel Building in 2000, the museum features three galleries, including the popular Doshi Gallery for Contemporary Art, a showcase for regional artists. The museum lies in the heart of town, on the east side of the river, just north of Harrisburg Hospital.
